Shaun Mayatte, DMD

Dr. Shaun Mayatte grew up in the Crossgates neighborhood and attended Brandon High School. After studying at Hinds Community College, he graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. In 2000, Dr. Mayatte graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. He then practiced in Columbia and Jackson, Mississippi for several years before coming home to Brandon to open Mayatte Family Dentistry. He has completed training at the Misch International Implant Institute as well as courses in complex restorative dentistry from Frank Spear at the Scottsdale Center for Advanced Dental Education and Howard Chasolen at the Chasolen Centre in Sarasota, Florida. He is currently working on his mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the Mississippi Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Mayatte and his wife, Claire, live in Brandon with their two daughters, Audrey and Paige. They are members of First Baptist Church of Brandon. When not practicing dentistry, he loves spending time in the great outdoors by either training for a triathlon, hunting whatever is in season or fishing with Claire and the girls.
